The Streaming Giant Casts Ideal Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3
The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the third season, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has recently been selected.
Netflix announced recently that Cole Escola is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bon Clay. Bon Clay possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. Escola, who is identifies as non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a rendition of that character reimagined as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag performer, in the real-life adaptation, differing from the source material and anime.
This performer will work alongside multiple recently announced actors tasked with bringing the group to life, featuring chief Mr. 0, played by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who will appear as the lineup as the ruler of Alabasta.
Though the role is a important part of the group, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. With the second season set to cover the Little Garden segment, this marks a significant shift in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could indicate further changes to the story’s structure.
Their mix of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the role. Along with their recent voice performance in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and several accolades for creating and performing in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s highly regarded roles.
